EDUCATION
At Artco we consider conservation outreach and training as an integral part of heritage preservation.
By making the public aware of the importance of looking after collection and heritage, we make them value and care for these objects, hence preserving them for the future.
Artco can develop workshops, seminars and special interest lectures and talks targeted to your needs to increase awareness in conservation issues for curators, keepers of collections, collectors, framers, artists and students, etc.
Previous workshops topics that have proven very successful include:

- Factors of deterioration
- Condition checking of artworks
- Artifact handling
- Artists materials and techniques
- Conservatours: tour of exhibitions or permanent collections galleries emphasizing the ‘behind the scenes’ conservation measures in place at the museum.
Any of these workshops or tours can be customized to meet your individual requirements and to be relevant to your collections. Additional workshops and talks can also be organized upon request.
